Sangu Brand Semiya is a renowned company that has been offering delectable and authentic traditional foods to its customers for over three decades, and its success is largely attributable to its founder. Mr. Chandran’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1982 with a modest production of plain vermicelli in a small carpet area. In those days, vermicelli was not easily obtainable in the market, but Mr. Chandran’s unconventional product offerings, combined with superior quality and taste and innovative marketing strategies, enabled him to seize the Coimbatore market.
In 1993, the company broadened its product offerings by launching roasted vermicelli. Subsequently, in 2005, Sangu Brand Semiya expanded its product line to encompass various types of semiya, such as ragi, wheat, kambu, and noodles. Initially staffed by only five employees, the company has since expanded steadily. Presently, it operates in three locations, with its principal establishment situated in TVS Nagar.
Quality has always been the hallmark of Mr. Chandran’s vision. Emphasizing quality and taste has helped Sangu Brand Semiya distinguish itself from its market rivals. Currently, the company serves over ten distributors and plans to increase its capacity utilization in the future by introducing novel products to the market.
